5-6 months contract with a local authority Job Purpose To provide efficient and accurate business support to the Families First Advice Line, ensuring timely data entry, processing of referral information, and contributing to the evidence base that demonstrates the impact of the service. The role supports the smooth operation of the advice line and helps maintain high standards of service delivery. Key Duties/Accountabilities Accurately input and manage referral data into relevant systems Support the processing and tracking of incoming referrals and service requests Maintain and update databases and spreadsheets to ensure data integrity Assist in compiling reports and performance metrics to evidence service impact Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth information flow Provide general administrative support including filing, scanning, and responding to enquiries Essential Experience Required Previous experience in a business support, administrative, or data entry role Experience working in a customer-facing or public service environment (desirable) Familiarity with handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality Essential Qualification Required GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent qualification) – desirable Additional Information Working hours: 18.5 hours per week Location: 7 Skomer Road, Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, CF629DA, United Kingdom The role closes on 8th Sept 2025, apply ASAP.
