About the role As our Lived Experience Coordinator, you will: · Support the development of Lancashire Mind’s approach to involving people with lived experience in all key organisational decisions. · Facilitate our Youth Advisory Groups and Adult Lived Experience Panel, recruiting members and coordinating meetings and activities. · Work alongside staff across the charity to embed lived experience in service planning, design and evaluation. · Attend community events, promote participation opportunities, and connect with partner organisations. · Help deliver internal training on participation, coproduction and community-led approaches. The role involves travel within Lancashire and some occasional evening/weekend work. Who we’re looking for We want someone who is: · Passionate about lived experience involvement and mental health equality. · Confident working with a wide range of people — including young people and communities facing inequalities. · Knowledgeable about Lancashire’s communities and the barriers people face. · Friendly, enthusiastic and able to work both independently and as part of a team. · Committed to equity, diversity, inclusion and challenging discrimination. · Comfortable facilitating group sessions and creating spaces where everyone feels able to contribute.
