We are seeking an experienced and passionate Mexican Head Chef or Sous Chef to join our team for an exciting new restaurant opening in Greater London. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, authenticity, and technical expertise in Mexican cuisine, contributing to the development of an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
* Create and execute authentic and innovative Mexican dishes, maintaining consistency and excellence.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient team environment.
* Oversee menu planning, costing, and inventory management.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
* Collaborate with management on menu development and seasonal specials.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a Mexican or Latin American restaurant.
* Strong knowledge of traditional and contemporary Mexican cuisine.
* Currently based in the UK (mandatory).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
