Our client, a fast-growing creative marketing agency specializing in branding, digital marketing, content, social media, paid media, design, data, and more, is looking for a Creative Director. The agency has offices in Milton Keynes and close links to London, delivering bold, creative, and data-driven work that accelerates business growth for SMEs and larger brands across the UK and beyond.
In this role, you will own the creative strategy for their client portfolio and internal brand, leading campaigns across various channels including brand identity, social content, web design, video, digital ads, and 3D/graphic design. You will collaborate closely with the Strategy Director, Content and Paid teams, and senior management to produce visually compelling, strategically grounded, and performance-focused work. Mentoring midweight and senior creatives to foster growth, innovation, and excellence will be a key part of your responsibilities.
You will lead creative output that not only looks good but also converts, guiding customer journeys from curiosity to conversion through immersive visuals, user experience, and brand storytelling. Your direction will cover everything from concept and storyboarding to final execution, ensuring alignment with briefs, branding, and strategy. You will also help set the visual tone across client projects and the agency's marketing presence, including the website, social channels, and thought-leadership assets.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A proven leadership record in agency environments, with experience in branding, digital content, advertising, and web.
* Strong conceptual thinking combined with practical design sensitivity, experienced in all stages of creative processes.
* Excellent communication skills, both visual and verbal.
* Experience using creative direction to deliver measurable results that drive engagement, leads, and growth.
* A track record of mentoring teams, fostering growth, and cultivating a collaborative environment of design excellence.
* A passion for full-funnel, data-informed creative storytelling that moves people and builds brands.
Responsibilities include:
* Setting creative vision and standards across campaigns and internal content, ensuring consistency with brand strategy.
* Overseeing concept development, execution, and post-project reviews.
* Leading brainstorming sessions, pitch development, and innovation workshops.
* Providing feedback, mentoring, and professional development for the creative team.
* Collaborating with strategy, content, media, and analytics teams to align creative efforts with campaign objectives and performance.
