An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Education Development Manager to join the ICENI and East Anglian Simulation & Training Centre. This role will focus on overseeing the running of each centre and managing the teams at Ipswich & Colchester sites.
1. To have overall responsibility for the operational management of service delivery of Iceni Centre and East Anglian Simulation Training Centre.
2. To promote high standards of professional practice and the delivery of education within the corporate policies, protocols, and guidelines.
3. To provide clinical and managerial leadership to all staff within East Anglian Simulation & Training Centre and Iceni Centre.
4. Act as an ambassador for the Trust, ensuring the positive development of the Trust brand, championing the Trust's values, and ensuring the recognition of the Trust in providing exceptional healthcare for patients.
5. Ensure the delivery of high-quality training that aligns with learning objectives set out by faculty, Trust, Multidisciplinary School, or NHSE.
6. Meet the needs of the Trust regarding induction, mandatory, and statutory training.
7. To deliver an efficient and effective service through the management of staff.
8. Support both centres in achieving their financial performance and operational objectives, ensuring workforce, accommodation, and equipment resources are optimized.
9. Undertake projects as required.
10. Act as a champion for operational effectiveness and quality.
