The Role
The School is seeking a proactive and highly organised PA to support the Bursar, who oversees the day-to-day management of key support services including Finance, Estates, Facilities, HR, Compliance, Health & Safety, IT and Marketing and Communications. The Bursar also serves as Clerk to the Governors.
This pivotal role provides comprehensive administrative and secretarial support, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Bursar’s office. The PA will act as a discreet and reliable point of contact for staff and external stakeholders, handling sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and care.
The main duties of the post will include, but not be restricted to, the following:
Bursars PA:
1. Manage the Bursar’s diary, appointments, and meeting schedule.
2. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, letters, calls).
3. Book meeting rooms and arrange catering.
4. Act as first point of contact for staff, parents, governors, and external suppliers.
