We are Forestry England. We live and breathe forests. As a Visitor Services Officer you will help create an exceptional visitor experience, supporting the welcome and visitor centre across our sites. The role requires a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment and covers both local and national events, including regular weekend and bank holiday work.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service to visitors, creating lasting memories.
- Work across the visitor welcome area and visitor centre to maintain visitor facilities.
- Ensure a smooth, inclusive and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
- Promote Forestry England’s work, including events, membership, legacy giving and volunteering.
- Support both local and national events, including regular weekend and bank holiday working.
Requirements
- Willingness to work regular weekend and bank holiday hours.
- Must have a satisfactory criminal record check and comply with the government baseline personnel security standard.
- Ability to provide accurate spoken English (required by the Immigration Act 2016).
