Family Time Supervisors needed urgently in West Sussex Area
Location:
West Sussex - We currently have two roles in the West Sussex area.
Burgess Hill / Days/Hours:
Wednesdays 15:30 – 18:30
Crawley and Guildford Area / Days/Hours:
Tuesday
Term Time 5 - 7pm (min 3 hours pay)
School Holidays
Sundays
same weekly
We are looking for several staff, therefore could be every other weekend if desired.

Role Overview
We're currently seeking responsible and empathetic Family Time Supervisors to facilitate and monitor contact between children and their family members. This is a highly rewarding role where you can make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and facilitate contact sessions between children and family members
* Ensure a safe, neutral, and child-focused environment
* Accurately observe and record interactions during contact sessions
* Write clear, factual, and objective contact reports in line with service expectations
* Manage challenging situations calmly and professionally
* Work in line with safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
Requirements
* Experience working with children, families, or in safeguarding-related roles
* Strong communication and observational skills
* Ability to remain neutral, objective, and professional in sensitive family situations
* Good report writing and documentation skills
* Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, Childcare, or equivalent preferred
* Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain – we cover the cost)
* Completion of mandatory training during the probation period (training provided)
