Role Overview
Simply Education are recruiting a Primary Teacher for an Abingdon primary school. This position involves full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, marking, assessments, and participation in school meetings and events. You will deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, support pupil progress, and foster a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across KS1 and KS2
* Mark and provide feedback on pupils' work following school policies
* Track pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records
* Support pupils with SEN and other additional needs
* Participate in staff meetings, parents' evenings, and after-school activities
* Ensure the classroom is inclusive, safe, and stimulating
Skills & Experience:
* Qualified teacher (QTS preferred)
* Experience teaching primary pupils across multiple year groups
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
* Strong planning, assessment, and feedback capabilities
* Team player, flexible, and confident in full class responsibility
