About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Lower Limb procedures to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary medical team in a modern private hospital in Plymouth.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality surgical care within a well-equipped environment, supporting NHS, private, and insured patients. The organisation is committed to patient safety, clinical excellence, and positive outcomes, providing planned surgical care across a wide range of specialties.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver orthopaedic surgical procedures, with a focus on lower limb cases
* Conduct outpatient clinics and day-case surgery
* Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
* Ensure the highest standards of patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes
* Contribute to service development and continuous improvement
Working Pattern
* Full-time (40 hours per week)
* Flexible rota, primarily Monday to Saturday
Requirements
* UK registerable medical degree
* GMC Specialist Registration (or eligibility) in Orthopaedics
* FRCS (Orth) or European equivalent
* Proven track record of clinical and academic achievement
* Strong commitment to high-quality patient care
