Job Overview
The primary role of the post holder is to act as a Personal Assistant to the Head of Healthcare and Deputy Head of Healthcare. The assistant will be the first point of contact by telephone, e‑mail, and correspondence for visitors and staff, and will prepare agendas, reports and documentation using the Microsoft Office package. Advanced level IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher) are required.
Main Duties
You will be responsible for providing a confidential and comprehensive secretarial service to the Head of Healthcare and supporting other members of the senior health management team where required. You will manage all telephone enquiries, calls and emails in a polite and courteous manner, using your organisational and interpersonal skills to work under pressure and autonomously.
Qualifications
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications
* Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent experience to diploma level.
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of secretarial procedures, organisational policies, plans, regulations and operational procedures.
Desirable Criteria
* Comprehensive knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Experience
Essential Criteria
* Experience at a high level providing a comprehensive administrative or PA service.
* The ability to deal with staff, the public and external bodies professionally and sensitively, maintaining a high standard of confidentiality.
Desirable Criteria
* Previous experience of working as an Administrator/PA to an Executive Director or equivalent.
