Salary: £15.70‑£33.51 per hour. Contract type: Agency. Location: Royal Stoke Hospital, Stoke‑On‑Trent. Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday 08:00‑18:00.
Overview
We are recruiting locum Anaesthetic Practitioners to support various specialties across Royal Stoke Hospital in Stoke‑On‑Trent.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of anaesthetic procedures for patients undergoing surgery.
- Support the team in preparing specialist equipment and drugs, including anaesthetic machines, intravenous equipment and airway devices.
- Monitor patients throughout the anaesthetic process and respond quickly to any changes or complications.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high‑quality care across a range of surgical specialties including Orthopaedics & Trauma, Head & Neck, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, General Surgery, Urology, and Vascular.
Qualifications
- HCPC or NMC Registration (RGN/ODP).
- Minimum of 6 months UK‑based operating theatre experience.
- Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable
- Immediate Life Support (ILS) / Paediatric ILS.
- Mentoring or teaching qualification.
