Our Specialty Equipment segment includes Anderson Dahlen in Ramsey and Waconia, MN, and AD Process Equipment in Naperville, IL. Compensation: We value your skills and experience! The hourly wage for this role ranges from $23.00 to $35.00, reflecting various factors such as skill sets, experience, and organizational needs.
Your Role:
Primary Objective: As a key member of our team, you will plan and execute a variety of welding operations, including layout, cutting, brazing, and soldering on diverse parts and assemblies.
What You'll Do:
* Weld various materials in structural and sheet metal sizes using multiple welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, plasma, and oxyacetylene cutting).
* Select appropriate rods, wires, tips, and electrodes for each operation.
* Fit and position parts according to drawing specifications, creating fixtures as needed.
* Ensure quality standards by checking work for prescribed tolerances.
* Tack weld and perform all positions of welding, even in confined spaces.
* Work from drawings and specifications to plan operations and determine techniques.
* Identify job flow issues and recommend solutions for efficient production.
* Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
* Weld and finish to customer specifications, ensuring high-quality appearance.

What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications:
* Welder qualifications per ASME Section IX and/or AWS D1.1 for GTAW, FCAW, and/or GMAW.
* A minimum of 3+ years of welding experience.
* Crane and forklift training, with competency in operation and rigging.
* Strong math skills and the ability to read blueprints.
* Experience with hand tools, measuring instruments, and welding equipment.
* Ability to perform intricate welding processes and some fixturing/setup.
Physical Requirements:
Our work environment is dynamic and requires physical stamina. Here’s what to expect:
* Lift/Carry: 0-10 lbs. continuously; 11-50 lbs. frequently.
* Push/Pull: 0-25 lbs. continuously; 26-100 lbs. frequently.
* Bend, twist, and turn: 34-66% during a 10-hour shift.
* Kneel/Squat: 0-33% during a 10-hour shift.
* Stand/Walk: 0-33% during a 10-hour shift.
* Overhead reaching and ladder/stair climbing: 0-33% during a 10-hour shift.
