Housing Support Worker (Part Time 16 Hours) - Birmingham

Job Responsibilities
* Monday 10am to 5pm, Wednesday 10am to 5pm, Friday 10am to 4pm
* Provide tailored housing support and guidance to clients, assisting them in securing and maintaining suitable accommodation.
* Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring their needs and goals are met.
* Offer advice on tenancy rights, responsibilities, and available housing options.
* Build strong relationships with clients, offering emotional support and practical assistance.
* Coordinate with external agencies and service providers to facilitate access to additional resources and support services.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with organisational policies and legal requirements.
* Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and community outreach activities to promote best practices.
* Monitor client progress and adjust support strategies as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Previous experience in housing support, social work, or related fields is preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for case management and record-keeping.
* Knowledge of tenancy laws, housing regulations, and local authority procedures.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
* Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a busy environment.
