This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer to take ownership of programming processes and play a key role in driving efficiency, quality and continuous improvement across the shop floor.Key ResponsibilitiesTake full ownership of CNC programs including creation, prove-out, optimisation and revision controlProgram and edit using Fanuc and/or Siemens controls (training provided where required)Utilise CAD/CAM systems (SolidCAM) alongside on-machine programmingSupport efficient, repeatable production through continuous improvementSelect appropriate tooling, speeds and feeds across a range of materialsTroubleshoot and resolve machining issues on the shop floorMaintain accurate records and support quality processesWork closely with production teams to improve machining performanceSkills & ExperienceStrong CNC programming experience (Fanuc or Siemens)Background in CAD/CAM systems (SolidCAM desirable, training available)Confident with tooling selection and machining parametersPractical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilityGood communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyUnderstanding of CMM, oils/coolants and machining processes (training provided where needed)Willingness to learn and attend training coursesWhat's on Offer£38,000 - £42,000 basic salaryOvertime and/or shift allowance available15% Pension 24 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday off (increasing with service)Early finish every FridayPrivate healthcare and strong wellbeing supportIndustry-leading training and clear progression opportunitiesLong-term career stability within a growing businessAdditional InformationThis role is due to continued growth within the businessStructured training both in-house and externallyClear reporting line and support from management
