Industrial Water Treatment Scientist – Water Testing and Reporting
Location: South West / Bristol, UK – Candidate must live here.
Salary: £27k – £36k (dependent on experience) + company car + Operations Incentive Plan bonus.
Key responsibilities
* Service, recommend changes, report and communicate water treatment performance at customer sites.
* Achieve defined goals and objectives while working safely, compliantly, and efficiently at customer sites.
* Ensure safe working manner at all times.
* Complete Legionella sampling.
* Engage in QEHS systems and documentation management.
* Ensure a full water service plan is completed monthly, quarterly, and annually.
* Sample and test industrial waters.
* Consult on chemical treatment and basic technical concepts of the systems with customers.
* Complete and submit Consultant Service Reports (CSRs).
* Raise issues with Ops Leader and Commercial colleagues if necessary.
* Participate in review meetings with customers, contributing from an operational and technical perspective.
* Organise and schedule own site visits.
Qualifications
* Science or Engineering background.
* Experience in water treatment.
* Availability to travel within the assigned area; some overnight stays if necessary.
* Valid driving licence.
* Currently eligible to work in the UK.
* Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
