Responsibilities
Key duties include managing documentation, taking minutes for child protection and care experienced meetings, facilitating effective communication, and ensuring statutory requirements are met with discretion and professionalism. The applicant will have a sound understanding of GDPR and be able to process subject access requests (SARs) effectively within timescales.
Responsibilities include co‑ordinating bookings and appointments using the council’s booking system, SharePoint, and Outlook. Full training will be provided on key systems and procedures, including the Eclipse social work recording platform, purchase card usage, and coding transactions within the RBS system.
Qualifications
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* An individual with an unassuming and professional manner and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
* Experience in an administrative role, preferably within a social work or related environment.
* Strong understanding of confidentiality and data security, including the appropriate handling of sensitive and potentially distressing information relating to children and families.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint.

Employment Terms
Temporary post until 19/02/2027. The post may be filled on a secondment basis by an employee wishing to gain experience/career development and will be at the discretion of the employee's Third Tier Manager.
