Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 12:00 noon (Term Time Only – 35 working weeks per year)
Salary: £12.21 per hour / Annual salary £7,659.68 (with holiday pay included: 39.208 weeks)
Join Our Catering Team at Haberdashers’ Adams!
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Haberdashers’ Adams. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a rewarding environment, supporting a close-knit catering team with consistent hours during school term time only.
What You’ll Do:
* Prepare and serve hot and cold meals and beverages to customers
* Prepare sandwiches and assist with general food prep
* Deliver excellent front-of-house service, including clearing tables and operating the till
* Restock supplies and manage stock rotation
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen and service areas
* Ensure food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
* You’ll receive full training on the job, with access to our e-learning portal to help develop your skills and support you in your role.
What We’re Looking For:
* Must be aged 18 or over
* Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or custodial environment is an advantage
* Confident working both independently and as part of a team
* Willing to undergo and maintain correctional facility security clearance
* Able to obtain a food safety certification
* Physically capable of performing kitchen duties (lifting, bending, standing, etc.)
