Euro Municipal Ltd is a market leader in the hire, sales, and maintenance of Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs) and municipal equipment. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic to join our team in North Scarle, Lincoln (LN6).
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Technician looking for a stable, long-term role within a supportive and growing company.
Key Responsibilities
* Routine inspections, servicing, and defect repairs on HGVs
* Preparing vehicles for hire and sale
* Carrying out pre-MOT inspections and attending MOT tests
* Fault diagnosis, repair, and general HGV maintenance
* Occasional roadside repairs and support
* Completing inspection, service, and compliance paperwork
* Working independently and within a workshop team
* Liaising with parts and office teams as required
* Following all Health & Safety procedures
Requirements
* Proven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
* Strong attention to detail and quality standards
* Ability to work independently and manage workload
* Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable working to deadlines
Desirable (not essential):
* Experience with RCVs or municipal vehicles
* Welding, hydraulics, or auto-electrical skills
* IRTEC qualification
* HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
