We are seeking an experienced Sales Director with a strong background in UK Public Sector IT Services sales to drive growth and expansion across government and public sector accounts.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 12 years' experience in IT Services/Consulting sales
* Extensive experience selling into the UK Public Sector
* Proven ability to win new business and manage large sales cycles
* Strong network within government, NHS, or local authorities
* Experience collaborating with presales, delivery, and technical teams
* Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
* Bachelor's degree or higher (Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or related)
Responsibilities:
* Set and achieve annual sales targets
* Develop and execute sales strategies for public sector clients
* Lead opportunities from qualification through closure
* Participate in RFPs, proposals, and bid management
* Build long-term customer relationships and partnerships
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity
