As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to support internal finance operations and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a brilliant opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of finance tasks—from reconciling transactions and supporting invoicing, to assisting with reporting and liaising across departments. This is a full time permanent role and 100% office based. Excellent salary plus additionanal non salaried benefits Key Responsibilities: * Maintain and reconcile purchase and sales ledgers * Process and monitor invoices, payments, and expenses * Perform bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow monitoring * Support the preparation of VAT returns and monthly financial summaries * Resolve queries with internal teams and external suppliers * Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records * Provide general administrative support to the wider finance function The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Some experience in an accounts or finance role (ideal but not essential) * AAT Level 2 or working toward a recognised finance qualification (preferred) * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent organisational and time management skills * Confident using Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero) is a plus * A proactive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn * Professionalism when handling confidential information If you’re looking for a role that offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to grow within a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you
