Description
The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting their Brand in driving sales turnover and market share through consistently remaining consumer focused.
* Reflect a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times.
* Maximise sales through selling, providing excellent service and retail standards.
* Contribute to efficiencies by adhering to store/Brand/Company Procedures and guidelines.
* Understand daily/weekly targets.
* Be aware of additional sales avenues such as eventing, Omni, and digital channels.
* Keep up to date with competitor activities and missed opportunities.
* Utilise social media to drive the business and enhance the Brand image.
* Deliver the Brand Strategy and local marketing & events initiatives.
* Ensure excellent service levels and a customer-centric culture.
* Act as a Brand Ambassador, representing and bringing Brand values to life.
* Manage refunds and complaints according to guidelines, consulting with the Area Manager when needed.
* Use digital tools for continual knowledge update.
* Implement consumer recruitment and retention strategies.
* Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to deliver industry-leading experiences.
* Ensure standards in product, housekeeping, displays, messaging, and pricing are maintained.
* Manage deliveries, stock movements, and associated administration within timeframes.
* Follow auditable processes and take corrective actions where necessary.
* Fulfill information requests accurately and timely.
* Minimise stock loss by following security policies and procedures.
* Create a safe environment for consumers, adhering to health & safety policies.
Commerciality
* Manage daily replenishment and take appropriate actions.
* Utilise commercial reports to maximise sales performance.
* Deliver visual merchandising layouts as per guidelines and timelines.
* Address stock issues and inform the Area Manager when necessary.
* Manage promotions and discounts according to guidelines.
* Identify trends and suggest improvements to product performance.
Qualifications
* Experience in a fast-paced retail or consumer-facing environment.
* Ability to drive self-development.
* Commercial awareness of the industry.
* Effective communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
