Vane Hill Care Home is a specialist service in Torquay, set across two Victorian houses overlooking Torbay. The home provides structured, enablement focused support for adults living with mental health conditions, including Korsakoff’s syndrome and Alcohol-Related Brain Damage, promoting independence, stability and wellbeing.

* 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview
As a Kitchen Assistant, this role plays an important part in supporting the day to day running of the kitchen, helping to prepare meals and maintain a clean, safe and organised environment. The role contributes to ensuring residents receive high quality meals in a well run and hygienic setting.
Working alongside the kitchen team, the role supports food preparation, assists with deliveries and ensures all kitchen areas, equipment and utensils are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Attention to detail is key, helping to ensure food safety standards are consistently met.
The role also involves supporting a positive and efficient kitchen environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth service and a welcoming atmosphere.
