Amazon provides enterprises the opportunity to sell their goods on the Amazon platform worldwide, with over 2 million Sellers currently using this Marketplace service. Amazon is expanding its infrastructure globally, especially in cross-border selling. The ESM SAS Pro Service is a rapidly growing program offering China-based Sellers professional, value-added services, including account management and consulting, to maximize their presence and business in Amazon's global marketplaces. The goal is to enhance Seller and end-customer experiences by increasing selection, improving input management, and reducing shopping defects.
In this context, the Amazon China Global Selling SAS Pro Service team seeks an experienced Account Manager to work closely with Sellers. Responsibilities include monitoring and driving business performance, providing personalized consultancy to explore business opportunities, and developing strategic solutions for growth. The role involves managing Seller relationships, devising strategies for global accounts, and delivering high levels of Seller satisfaction. The candidate should understand Seller experiences on Amazon and generate insights to inform product improvements.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Conduct in-depth analysis of factors affecting Seller performance, diagnose root causes, and propose actionable plans (operational, product, process improvements).
2. Generate Seller insights on Amazon features, services, policies, and multi-channel strategies to identify business opportunities.
3. Implement account management best practices and SOPs within the business development framework.
4. Drive Seller growth through selection expansion, conversion optimization, ad performance, and feature adoption.
5. Develop category insights and collaborate with the Product Management team to scale category growth.
6. Work with PM/Central Ops teams to innovate product features/services based on Seller insights to improve Seller success and satisfaction.
7. Enroll new Sellers into SAS Pro via multiple channels, including offline events, co-pitching, and Seller communities.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with Sellers, engaging them in various Seller activities.
Minimum Qualifications
* 5+ years of relevant experience in retail, consultancy, or related industries, with a proven track record in managing relationships and projects.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong analytical skills; proficient with tools like Salesforce, Excel, and internal systems.
* Experience in data analysis, reporting, modeling, and forecasting for business decision-making.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and delegate effectively.
* Proven ownership and results-driven mindset.
* Fluent in oral and written English.
* Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).
Preferred Qualifications
* Strong data mining and business analytics skills, with the ability to present insights effectively.
* Experience in Cross-Border Ecommerce Business.
* Product development experience is a plus.
