The Opportunity
Global Highland is recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation within the agricultural and logistics sector for a Warehouse Operative and Intake Assistant to join their busy depot in the Highlands.
This is a varied role combining administrative responsibilities with hands-on warehouse duties. The successful candidate will support both the Depot Manager and Supervisor, playing a key role in stock intake, processing and general warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Duties
* Accurate processing of paperwork and data
* Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders via phone, email and in person
* Maintaining high standards of organisation and accuracy
* Supporting and promoting health & safety procedures
* Acting as Health & Safety Champion for site (training provided)
Intake & Warehouse Operations
* Coordinating intake processes for deliveries
* Operating forklift trucks (FLT licence desirable, training may be available)
* Physical handling and movement of stock
* Providing a professional and helpful service to suppliers and visitors
Requirements
Essential
* Minimum 6 months warehouse experience
* Strong communication skills
* Good numerical skills
Desirable
· Health & Safety knowledge or qualification
· FLT licence

* Salary: £29,500

* Working pattern: Monday – Thursday – 0800 – 1630, Fri – 0800 – 3.30
