We are seeking an experienced and proactive Management Accountant to join our clients finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and accounting, with the ability to provide insightful analysis and support to drive business performance. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and update budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations for improvements. Cost Control: Analyse and report on cost variances, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions, including profitability analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling. Month-End Close: Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies. Audit Support: Assist with the preparation for external audits and liaise with auditors as needed. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support for various projects and initiatives. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
