Job Title: Speech and Language Therapy Assistant
Location: Regional Role, South‑West London
Salary: Up to £26,000 FTE, dependent on experience
Hours: 37.5 hour week - Flexible working across 6 days (Monday-Friday)
Contract: Permanent – Summer contract – 50 weeks (5 weeks off in summer break, + 22 days holiday)

About the role
As a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant at the London Children’s Practice (LCP), you will provide interventions under the guidance of a registered Speech and Language Therapist. You will also give feedback on client progress, attend meetings, and advocate for clients and their families alongside the treating therapist. The role involves supporting indirect actions of speech and language therapy, such as creating programmes and assisting with scheduling.

Location: Primarily school‑based with work within a clinic setting.
Essential Criteria
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area
* GCSEs or equivalent
* Experience of working with children
* Effective communication professional skills
Desirable
* Previous experience working within health care
* Previous experience working with children with additional needs
* People management experience
