Job Summary
CMT London is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance and Operations Assistant to provide essential support across finance, administration, stock management, and day-to-day business operations. The successful candidate will work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate financial processing and reporting, while also assisting with operational coordination to keep our business running smoothly.
This role is well suited to an individual with a strong eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the flexibility to work across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Support
* Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time.
* Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
* Support monthly reconciliations of bank statements and ledger accounts.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and budgets.
* Provide support with payroll administration and related documentation.
* Maintain well-organised and accurate financial files and records.
Operations and Stock Management Support
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the finance and operations teams.
* Assist in managing office processes, including coordination with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
* Support operational projects such as equipment rollouts, fleet onboarding, and client service initiatives.
* Help ensure internal procedures and controls are followed consistently.
* Monitor, track, and manage stock levels of devices, parts, and accessories.
* Coordinate stock orders, deliveries, and distributions to drivers, fleets, and partners.
* Maintain accurate stock records and assist in preparing stock usage and inventory reports.
* Coordinate scheduling, documentation, and reporting requirements as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
* Previous experience or internships in finance, accounting, operations, or stock/inventory management is advantageous but not required.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Basic knowledge of financial principles; familiarity with accounting or stock management software is a plus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team.
* Positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude in a dynamic environment.
