Bodycare is not a store relaunch. It is the deliberate reconstruction of retail around how consumers now discover, trust, and buy products. Retailers have become creatures of head offices, while stores themselves remain passive endpoints. Bodycare inverts this model. Each store becomes an active media channel, a local community hub, and a live social commerce engine, powered by technology, talent, and authentic local engagement. In-store Live@Bodycare Studios enable continuous content creation and livestream selling. AI-driven tools will empower local teams to identify trends, optimise content. Product assortments, merchandising, and customer communication will all be tailored to the needs of the local community. A new type of store requires a more than just a Store Manager – it requires an Experience Manager.
THE ROLE
At Bodycare, an Experience Manager has the remit, the room, and the resources to run a store as a small business; a community-centric, socially-driven, technically-enabled retail hub. The primary responsibility of the Experience Manager is to create and maintain an immaculate, well-presented, well-stocked, well-serviced, warm and welcoming environment that recognizes and reflects its local community. Hiring and motivating the right people, ensuring a premium shopping experience, and setting high service standards is the foundation of long-term customer relationships.
The primary goal of the Experience Manager is to drive store revenue and profitability by:
* Optimizing product assortments and merchandising for the local community. Experience Managers will be equipped with proprietary tools to identify distinct local needs and analyze shelf productivity to maximise performance.
* Leveraging the power of local social content and media to engage the local community. Every Bodycare store will have its own Live@Bodycare Studio to enable content creators and live TikTok selling. Every Bodycare store will have its own Producer - Social Content to capture content from local community characters and narratives. Every Bodycare store will have its own social media accounts and tools to plan and schedule activity.
* Building one-to-one customer relationships via physical and digital interactions. Experience Managers will own local customer relationships, and be empowered with proprietary CRM and loyalty tools to grow their number and value.
