The Role
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a solid technical background and a passion for delivering exceptional client support. Acting as a key link between the sales, engineering, and client teams, you'll play a vital role in ensuring customers receive the guidance, quotations, and follow-up support they need—both before and after the sale.
Working closely with a knowledgeable technical sales team, you’ll help represent a highly respected product line, while also supporting the wider sales operation with quotes, pricing, and communication.
Key responsibilities:
Engaging directly with clients to understand their requirements and offer tailored solutions
Creating and managing quotations for spare parts, machinery, and full system packages
Tracking conversions from quotes to confirmed orders and keeping records up to date within the CRM
Supporting clients with product advice and technical queries pre-sale
Collaborating with engineers to ensure accurate technical information and presentations
Contributing to the development and upkeep of price lists and internal sales resources
The Candidate
Ideally, a degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) – or relevant hands-on experience in a comparable environment
Previous experience in an engineering setting, particularly within a sales support or customer-facing capacity (2 years+ preferred)
A confident communicator, happy speaking with customers and building rapport
A flexible team player with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn
The Package
Offering up to £42,000 per annum.
