We’re hiring an Estimator / Senior Estimator to join our growing team. You’ll be based in Boroughbridge or work flexibly from one of our regional hubs. If you want a role where your input matters, your skills grow fast, and your wins are recognised—this is it.
The Role
You’ll take full ownership of tenders across Hard & Soft Landscaping, Fencing, and Vegetation Management. From pricing to bid submission, your work will directly shape the projects we secure. Expect variety, real responsibility, and the freedom to improve how we do things.
Key Responsibilities
* Price and submit tenders – You’ll sharpen commercial skills and play a key role in hitting growth targets. More wins mean more chances to lead.
* Visit live and tendering sites – You'll gain first-hand insight, helping you price smarter and prepare better bids.
* Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors – Build your network and confidence while ensuring competitive pricing.
* Spot risks early – Your attention to detail protects the business and helps you master contract terms like NEC.
* Improve how we bid – Your ideas can shape our tender strategy, giving you a say in how we grow.
* Lead handovers to delivery teams – Ensure a smooth start on every project and strengthen your project management skills.

The Person
* Estimating experience in Landscaping or Minor Civils
* Familiarity with NEC or similar contracts
* Full UK driving licence
* Confident with deadlines and able to manage multiple bids
* Organised, commercially aware, and ready to step up
