Commodity Manager – High-Performance Engineering

As Commodity Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that sourcing strategies are robust, cost-effective and aligned with both operational and project requirements. You’ll act as a vital interface between engineering, production, and supply chain teams, managing a diverse portfolio of suppliers across the UK and internationally.
What you’ll be doing:
* Developing and executing sourcing strategies across multiple business portfolios
* Supporting production continuity and new product introduction projects
* Collaborating with engineering, operations, and programme teams to manage material and supplier performance
* Negotiating commercial agreements and identifying opportunities for value improvement
* Analysing supply chain data to drive informed decision-making and mitigate risk
What we’re looking for:
* Proven background in procurement or supply chain management within aerospace, defence, or regulated engineering sectors
* Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a detail-focused mindset
* Experience engaging with complex supplier networks
* A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and passion for engineering-led environments
