This Credit Controller role has been created due to internal movement within a well-established and growing transport business based in Preston. It’s a key role within a small, high-performing finance team where you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end credit control function.
This is a hands-on position where your day-to-day will involve managing a high volume of customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, resolving queries efficiently, and maintaining accurate records of debtor activity. With over 5,000 transactions a month, your ability to stay organised, proactive, and persistent will be essential.
You’ll excel in this role if you have solid experience in credit control or collections within a fast-paced finance function. The ideal candidate will be confident in building relationships with customers, skilled at negotiating payment plans, and capable of reducing aged debt while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
