You will play a key role in generating new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and supporting the wider commercial team through proactive outbound engagement and consultative sales conversations. Key Responsibilities Identify and engage prospective clients through outbound sales activity and marketing generated leads Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities through phone, email, LinkedIn, and digital outreach Arrange high quality meetings for the Business Development team by effectively qualifying customer requirements Build targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems, and market research tools Maintain accurate records of all pipeline activity and customer engagement within the CRM system Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to share campaign feedback and market insights Adopt a consultative sales approach tailored to each client's needs and challenges Deliver a professional and positive customer experience throughout the sales process About You Previous experience within a Sales Development, Business Development, or outbound sales role Strong communication skills with the confidence to build relationships and engage new prospects Experience using CRM systems and digital prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator Commercially driven, proactive, and resilient with a strong interest in sales and business growth Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Experience within construction, manufacturing, or related sectors would be advantageous but is not essential What's on Offer Base salary of £32,000 plus uncapped commission Hybrid working with three to four days per week in the Newcastle office Clear career progression opportunities Collaborative and supportive team environment Ongoing training and professional development Opportunity to join a growing business focused on innovation and long term growth If you are looking for an opportunity to join a forward thinking business where you can develop your sales career and make a genuine impact, please apply today.
