Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN and EAL Promote positive behaviour, resilience, and independence Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development Create a structured, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and KS1 colleagues Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress Contribute to planning sessions, staff meetings, and school initiatives Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1 Be confident delivering the KS1 curriculum Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills Be reflective, enthusiastic, and pupil-focused Be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing The school is located in Nottingham, with excellent transport links and a supportive, welcoming community.
