Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Residential Conveyancing team for an ambitious and client-focused Conveyancer to join the firm.
As a Residential Conveyancer, you will manage your own caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion. Working closely with Legal & Strategic Leads, People Leads, and your wider team, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience while supporting the development of less experienced colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from inception to post‑completion
* Handle a variety of matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build transactions
* Provide clear, practical, and commercially focused advice to clients throughout the transaction process
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, brokers, solicitors, and other third parties to progress matters efficiently
* Review title documentation, searches, contracts, and mortgage offers
* Resolve title issues and enquiries effectively while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
* Ensure files are managed in accordance with internal procedures and service level standards
* Keep clients regularly updated, delivering a high standard of customer service throughout
* Support, mentor, and assist junior team members where appropriate
* Stay up to date with developments in residential property law and conveyancing best practice

About You
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload
* Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive, or experienced non-qualified Fee Earner considered
* Proven ability to manage transactions independently from instruction to completion
* Strong knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures
* Experience handling freehold, leasehold, remortgage, and transfer of equity matters
* Excellent client care and communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
* Comfortable working within a case management environment and using Microsoft Office applications
* A proactive and team-oriented approach to work
