Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Intelligence Analyst to join our innovative and responsive Business Intelligence Service at Dorset County Hospital (DCH). This exciting opportunity will enable you to work within a friendly team responsible for enabling the use of high‑quality, timely, and accurate data to support effective, data‑driven, operational and strategic decision making.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with clinicians, managers and external partners to understand information needs and work with the wider BI team to scope, plan and deliver reporting solutions.
* Use data standards and a strong knowledge of data warehouses and visualisation tools to develop reporting solutions that support strategic and operational decision making.
* Demonstrate a pro‑active, methodical and structured approach to capturing data requirements with flexibility and resilience to handle shifting priorities and demands.
* Work collaboratively with Dorset Intelligence and Insight Service (DiiS) and other partners to enhance the Business Intelligence offering across the organisation.
Qualifications
* Experience in an Intelligence Analyst or similar role, with a proven track record in business intelligence.
* Strong knowledge of data standards, data warehouse technologies and visualisation tools.
* Detailed working knowledge of the Health and Care system is desirable, but not essential.
Work Eligibility and Conditions
UKVI Sponsorship: This role may be available for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route, as defined by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). Sponsorship will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis.
Working arrangement: The team works flexibly in a hybrid setting, with a mix of office and remote locations, and requires regular meetings at Dorset County Hospital and across partner sites.
