Overview
I’m working closely with a well-regarded law firm based in Bexleyheath, and they’re on the lookout for a bright and motivated Private Client Paralegal or Earner to join their established team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in Private Client work who’s looking for that next step—or even a more balanced, flexible role with real long-term prospects.
Why This Role? This firm really gets it when it comes to work-life balance. They offer flexible working—that includes hybrid options and even part-time hours if that suits your lifestyle. The team has a lovely, down-to-earth vibe and they\'re genuinely supportive. You won’t just be a number here. You’ll be an integral part of a close-knit department that values collaboration and career growth.
The Role: You’ll be handling a varied Private Client caseload which may include:
Responsibilities
* Wills and estate planning
* Probate and estate administration
* Powers of attorney
* Trusts
* Court of Protection matters
Depending on your level, you’ll either support the earners or run your own files under supervision. There’s plenty of scope to grow, with ongoing training and a clear path to progression—whether that’s qualification or stepping into a more senior role.
The Offer
* Competitive starting salary (flexed depending on experience)
* Hybrid working – mix of office and home
* Flexible/part-time hours available
* Clear career development pathway
* Supportive and approachable management team
* Friendly, stable office with great long-term prospects
About You
You’ll likely be a Paralegal or Earner with at least 12 months\' Private Client experience, ideally with:
* Solid knowledge of Wills, Probate, LPAs etc.
* Confidence in dealing with clients sensitively and professionally
* Strong organisational skills
* A team-focused attitude – this firm really values a positive culture.
This is a brilliant role for someone who wants stability, flexibility, and real progression in a reputable local firm without the grind of commuting into the City.
