Role: We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join a leading technology-driven organization. You will design, build, and optimize data pipelines and integration workflows within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and secure data solutions that enable advanced analytics and business intelligence capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
* Develop ETL/ELT processes to integrate and transform large datasets across cloud and on‑prem environments.
* Implement and optimize data solutions in Azure Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks, and Snowflake.
* Write efficient SQL and Python scripts for data manipulation, validation, and automation.
* Collaborate with data architects and analysts to ensure data consistency and quality across systems.
* Troubleshoot and debug data ingestion and transformation workflows.
* Ensure compliance with data security and governance standards.
Key Skills:
* Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) – expert level.
* Hands‑on skills in Azure Databricks, Snowflake, and SQL.
* Proficiency in Python for automation and data transformation.
* Good debugging and problem‑solving skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
* 6–8 years of overall data engineering experience preferred.
