Domestic Supervisor – Queen’s Hospital, Romford
Salary: £30, per annum
Hours: per week (5 days out of 7)
Shift: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
Are you passionate about delivering high standards of cleanliness and leading a team to provide exceptional service? We are looking for a DomesticSupervisor to join our team at Queen’sHospital, Romford.
About the Role
As a DomesticSupervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring a high-quality, timely, andcost-effective domestic service across wards and departments. You will manageand motivate a team of domestic staff, ensuring cleaning standards meetcontractual and infection control requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and deploy domestic staff, creating weekly rotas and managing workloads.
* Monitor cleaning standards and take remedial action where necessary.
* Control and issue cleaning materials and equipment within budget.
* Recruit, train, and develop domestic staff, conducting appraisals and managing performance.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and infection control policies.
* Maintain accurate documentation and assist with payroll processes.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in domestic services within a hospital or similar environment.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and customer care abilities.
* Good literacy, numeracy, and time management skills.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety and infection control standards.
* Flexible approach and ability to work under pressure.
