We’re looking for passionate individuals in the East Midlands area, specifically in Derby and Chesterfield. As a Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you’ll bring your expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers—whether they’re at home or at work. Forget the constraints of a traditional garage; you’ll be equipped for success from day one with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit.

What We’re Looking For
We want someone who truly understands people. This isn’t just about spanners and engines; our mechanics are out there on driveways, chatting with customers, giving advice, and representing the RAC with pride. You’re not just in the RAC—you are the RAC!
Here’s what you’ll need:

Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
*
At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles
*
A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
