GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Sheffield. As an SEN Teacher, this is a rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by providing high-quality teaching, pastoral support, and tailored learning experiences to meet the unique needs of each pupil. As an SEN Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the individual learning needs of pupils with SEND. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels valued and confident. Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure effective learning and development. Monitor and assess pupil progress, implementing strategies to support academic and personal growth. Promote social and emotional wellbeing, helping pupils to build resilience and self-esteem. Requirements of SEN Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Previous experience teaching pupils with special educational needs, such as autism (ASC), ADHD, or SEMH. A patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching style. Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
