Accounts Assistant / Administrator - Eastbourne, East Sussex
* Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (Dependent on Experience)
* Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 (Flexible & 4-Day Week Considered)
* Location: Eastbourne - Fleet Rental Accident Repair Centre
* Start Date: Immediate Start Available
Our client is a well-established Vehicle Rental Company Accident Repair Centre, operating across the UK with a fleet of over 3,500 vehicles. They have a strong reputation in the long-term rental market and are a proud Member of the British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association.
They offer a relaxed, friendly, and flexible working environment and are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant / Administrator to join their team.
About the Accounts Assistant Role This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work in a busy but supportive environment. The role involves general accounting duties, including purchase & sales ledger, credit control, banking, and reconciliations.
Both motor trade and non-motor trade backgrounds will be considered, making this an ideal role for someone with strong finance and administration skills.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:
* Managing purchase and sales ledger transactions
* Handling banking and credit control processes
* Carrying out bank reconciliations
* Ensuring accurate and timely financial records
* General administrative duties to support the finance team
What Our Client is Looking For:
* Sage Experience is Highly advantageous
* AAT qualification preferred, but experience is equally valued
* Strong attention to detail & accuracy
* Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
* Ability to work independently & as part of a team
* A proactive attitude and willingness to take on tasks as needed
