Contract details
The contract runs for three years, with a likely two-year extension. We are helping this charity recruit a brand-new team, and they have multiple roles available.
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of clients across prison and probation settings to support rehabilitation, with a key focus on resettlement and securing employment. Help clients develop skills, secure accommodation, and gain necessary support. Provide 1:1 support and guidance, setting goals and milestones to aid progress.
* Work across HMP The Mount and probation trusts at Watford, St Albans, and Hemel Hempstead (a car driver is essential).
Qualifications and experience
* Experience working with individuals within the criminal justice system, either in a prison or custodial setting.
* Alternatively, experience supporting vulnerable clients in areas such as mental health, substance abuse, or homelessness is valuable.
* Criminology graduates with volunteer experience are encouraged to apply.
