Overview
The Best Connection are currently seeking to recruit HGV Class 2 (LGV C) drivers to work with our client based in Darlington. Our client specialises in the delivery of furniture to customers, with handballing involved.
The Role
* Multi-drop Class 2 driving, delivering furniture directly to customers
* Handballing and manual handling of furniture involved
* Efficient and accurate deliveries on scheduled routes
* This is a customer-facing role, so a friendly and professional attitude is essential - you will be representing both our client and The Best Connection
The Candidate
* Valid and in-date Cat C driving licence, CPC card, and Digital Tachograph card
* Minimum 12 months Class 2 driving experience required
* Positive attitude towards customer service
* Ability to handle manual lifting/handballing safely
Hours of Work
* Ongoing bookings with a 4 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off, 5 on 2 off rota
* Training week provided
Pay Rates (PAYE)
* £16.76 per hour basic rate
* Uplift for Weekend rates
