Business Development Manager - SaaS/Contact Centre, Glasgow
We are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (Contact Centre or SaaS) to join a well-established business based in Glasgow, Scotland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating appointments at director level for themselves and the BD team to convert. The ideal candidate will be target-driven, bright, confident, and have a keen interest in technology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Target the right new clients for the Contact Centre business.
* Follow up on internal and external leads to convert inquiries into appointments.
* Work towards set Business Development KPIs.
* Provide first-class customer service and portray the company positively.
* Develop B2B pipeline by engaging new prospective customers.
* Manage the sales pipeline effectively.
* Work towards business targets.
* Ensure a fantastic customer experience, including onboarding.
Key Skills Required:
* Excellent client engagement and development skills.
* High-volume outbound calling to approach new clients.
* Proven sales experience in a target-driven environment.
* Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage workflow to meet sales objectives.
* Consistently work towards and exceed expectations and targets.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills for engaging clients, business owners, and colleagues.
* Ability to use initiative to manage performance and adhere to BD KPIs.
* Experience in B2B pipeline development.
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
* Excellent rapport-building abilities.
* Highly motivated with a target-oriented mindset.
