We are looking to appoint a Lecturer in Forensic Science to deliver high quality teaching across our Animal Studies & Science programme area. This role represents an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic curriculum area that supports learners across a range of levels and pathways. The post holder will play a key role in the planning and delivery of engaging, effective teaching and learning, ensuring programmes are delivered to a high academic standard and in line with awarding body and quality requirements. Through a combination of classroom, laboratory and practical teaching, the lecturer will support learners to develop subject knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours, enabling them to achieve their academic and personal goals.
The lecturer will work closely with colleagues across the department to ensure a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment, maintaining high standards in safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity, and learner wellbeing.
Responsibilities
Deliver high quality teaching across the Animal Studies & Science programme area through classroom, laboratory and practical sessions. Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences that meet awarding body and quality requirements. Support learners to develop subject knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours to achieve academic and personal goals. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment and uphold safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity, and learner wellbeing standards.
