Contribute to whole school development and help drive forward our School Development Plan Coordinate subject areas across key stages as agreed with the Head Teacher Ensure learning is safe, purposeful and appropriately risk assessed both on and off site Support and guide LSAs, Tutors, Instructors and care staff to deliver high quality learning experiences Work effectively with challenging behaviour, helping students move from external regulation to self control Maintain accurate records in line with company policies and regulatory standards Meet the Professional Standards for Teachers in full QTS or equvilent qualification A commitment to delivering high quality education within agreed budgets and resources Strong awareness of Health & Safety, safeguarding and child protection Excellent communication, teamwork and relationship building skills A proactive approach to personal development and ongoing training A willingness to contribute to team meetings, supervisions and annual reviews A passion for promoting the school as a valued, respected part of the community Red Kite is a brand-new independent special educational needs school which will cater for up to 60 pupils with social and emotional health needs.
