We’re looking for an Electrical Compliance Contract Supervisor to join us on a fixed term basis until March 2025. This is a full-time position working 39 hours per week. Contractually based out of our Portsmouth office, this role will be covering all areas in VIVIDs portfolio.

Here’s the facts about the role:
As an Electrical Compliance Contract Supervisor, you’ll assist in the delivery of our statutory and non-statutory compliance servicing and remedial work programmes. You’ll undertake quality inspections to ensure that all servicing is carried out to the required Health & Safety standards. Ensuring contractors are conducting themselves appropriately, that VIVID working practices are being adhered to, and that the customer is satisfied with the work and service provided.
Assisting the manager by monitoring departmental budgets is important to this role, ensuring all expenditure is within budgets and minimise unnecessary expenditure. Ensuring targets and programmes for all works are adhered to and advise managers of any alterations or problems that arise. You’ll resolve all customer complaints and call-backs within timescales and to full customer satisfaction and assist with the planning of remedial actions following our annual asbestos reinspection REG4 programme.
To be successful for this role, you’ll need to hold a qualification in City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 or equivalent, City and Guilds 2391/2394/2395 Testing and Inspection and 17thEdition Wiring Regulations. You’ll also have good working knowledge of all aspects of electrical testing and repairs, and have experience of managing/supervising contractors.
This role requires you to travel independently throughout the company’s area of operation so you must have access to a car and hold a Full UK driving licence. Offers are subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
