Job Description Summary The Engineering Leader is a key member of the site leadership team, reporting to the Site Leader. In this role, you will own the strategy and execution of the Engineering function, ensuring it effectively supports current operations and future growth. You will lead and develop the Engineering team, strengthen processes and standards, and partner across the business to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC). Job Description As the Engineering Leader, you will Lead and develop the Engineering function to meet current and future business needs, building capability, capacity, and succession within the team. Ensure high-impact technical support is provided to all areas of the MRO process and to external customers, enabling safe, compliant, and efficient operations. Own the delivery of shop work packages, ensuring they are produced accurately and on time in line with production requirements. Provide engineering leadership to cross-functional initiatives focused on turn-around-time (TAT) reduction, new repair capabilities, cost reductions, and quality improvement. Maintain robust technical standards in decision-making and documentation, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. Own Engineering master data governance, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and effective revision control. Ensure shop routers and work instructions accurately reflect OEM publications and regulatory authority requirements. Develop personal capabilities around Lean to improve SQDC through leading and providing coaching support to team Lead the analysis and reporting of first-time yield from the test cell and drive effective improvement plans to close gaps and sustain performance. Continuously review and improve Engineering processes, identifying risks and opportunities, and implementing structured, measurable improvement plans. Monitor fleet development and in-service performance, ensuring engine workscopes and repair strategies are updated to reflect evolving requirements and customer needs. Qualifications / Requirements Engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience. Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization and with external stakeholders. Proven interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to build, coach, engage and inspire high-performing engineering teams. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex technical and operational problems, using data-driven and structured problem-solving approaches.
